in a different direction with it; I'm not seeing it if you meant something else:

"I'm betting it is you she knows, not Texas or the US."

She knows enough about Texas through me, my parents, my family, and other people she knows that live here. Plus, her visit showed her plenty of what's important to her, not us. We've been influenced by the politics and all that nastiness. I'd rather not pop her bubble. It would be rude, and I'm not a rude Texan
