face to face. My guess is that all kinds of curses, grotesque language and ugliness goes on behind the scenes. It has never been like *The American President*, *The Contender*or any number of political films where there is a semblance of civility even when the media cameras aren't clicking away.

These legislators today don't even bother to pretend that they are civil or have an iota of class OR restraint. They have lost any sense of decency or accountability and what passes for excuses for *assshat* behavior is lame and disingenuous.The *Ugly American* thrives in the Halls of Congress. Respect? Not with this bunch of jerks.

Frankly, the entire nation has become boorish, undignified, and mean-assed. And I doubt much can be done about the downslide...no one is held accountable for their lack of decency or grace, even though we know it has always been lurking.

However, as far as our specific President is concerned, the ugliness goes further and is insidious. It is racist and bigoted and quite nauseating. Though the President may be used to a lifetime of such ignorance and graceless BS, there are still a lot of people who would like to know just what comes out of the real mouths of these *elected* public servants.The ONLY recourse is to name names and hold that person up to public scrutiny. We still have that (somewhat shaky) power.

Senator Durbin...name names if you are going to mention it at all so we can at least hold some of this shitty behavior in a stronger public light.

It really pisses me the hell off, damnit! (small, ironic grin)
