Maybe because they're dressed for English weather:

Doubts were initially raised about whether the photograph could have been taken in Miami, given that the teenagers were wearing thick coats and jumpers. However after consulting Old Farmer’s Almanac, The Miami Herald reported that the city suffered a cold snap during The Beatles’ visit.

Ringo's getting nostalgic. I only have warm feelings for him myself.
