(39,909 posts)It beats chasing odors in the basement,
and then spending time composing personal narratives about my adventures,
and posting them to General Discussion at DU.
I've enjoyed our little tete-a-tete, but no matter how enjoyable, it is rude and self absorbed.
I completely agree with the OP.
It is appropriate and necessary to rally Democrats to voice a LOUD opposition to the offered cuts to the cornerstone of the Democratic Party, Social Security. This should be posted every single day.
Sadly, Social Security will NEVER again be the "untouchable 3rd Rail of Politics".
The precedent has been set, and our Social Security WILL forever be On-the-Table in future "negotiations" until it is gone.
I understand why this would make conservatives and former Republicans happy.
They have hated it since FDR.
Now, as a review for after the Hi-jacking and an apology to the OP, AnotherMcIntosh:

For greater thrift, be sure to cut a lemon into small pieces.

DURec & Kick for the OP!

I want a party that will STAND UP for Working Americans."
