so it was dumb of her, but she'll think twice the next time she's posting on twitter.

Somebody was also just fired for posting pix of her teenage/early 20s sons dressed up as Zimmerman and Trayvon for Halloween. They weren't at her place of work, but her place of work was either tracked down or mentioned on her facebook site or whatever. And then the workplace was contacted by multiple viewers and they decided she had to go.

Unless somebody is the "face of the company" they should be left alone, but the fact is that if you participate in places where you can be identified, you are putting yourself at risk. Companies generally don't think twice about firing these days. We're all ultimately replaceable.

You and I may never consider tracking somebody's workplace and getting them fired for offensive crap, but a lot of people will. Especially if they don't sense any potential blowback to themselves.
