and small truths but "Gospel" is a loaded word and I'm so sure that Gospel should even be followed as Gospel, although there is much wisdom in Gospel as well.

Some people view Carlin's message as being defeatest, to give up, we're already owned but I take an opposing point of view, Carlin intended to anger his listeners so as to build up resistance.

I believe Carlin's primary intent and message was to spark critical thinking and action which is desperately needed in order to oppose those dark and powerful forces beholden to nothing but greed and the pursuit of power while not giving a damn about the people.
