I certainly did learn a lot of human nature, but I believe overall the experience made me a much kinder, more loving, and gentler person. Then again, that's just me.
Anyways, I hope that you (like all vets) are doing something special for themselves today. All I want to do is sit on my patio, drink a beer, and watch my kids run around but I'll have to see if I can actually get that to happen.
