46. A few too many fish hook analogies (you probably need a vacation), but otherwise accurate.

The two zombie MSM narratives (MYTHS) that drive me crazy are:

1. The GUN LOBBY is too powerful to even bother fighting against, much like Achilles in Homer's Iliad.
and,
2. Only CONSERVATIVES are angry (motivated) enough, and organized enough, and (by extension) 'responsible' enough to come out to vote in mid-term elections, much like only small brained mammals like pit-bulls and Rotweilers are mindlessly aggressive enough to bite all the time.

So, if Achilles is too powerful to fight against, and going out and voting during mid-terms is a sign of belligerent stupidity, why should we want to be part of either one of those futile exercises. We've got better things to do than struggle against the inevitable, right?

Meh! This is bullshit. The GUN LOBBY CAN be defeated, and mid-term elections CAN be won by progressives.

And yes, if even the (slightly) left leaning networks like MSNBC have bought into that mythology, the Democratic UNDERGROUND, at least, should KNOW better.
