7. Conviction on impeachment requires a 2/3rds majority

The Republicans aren't going to get anywhere near that.

In addition, impeaching Obama makes Biden president, giving him a large leg-up in 2016...and 2020 - finishing Obama's term would be short enough that he could run again.
