5. You cano't FORCE insurance cmpanies to keep offering those policies

Most of the time the insurance companies canceled policies because that's how they get you up to a higher price. And the insurance companies love the fact that in many markets they can double their prices with exchange-based policies and the government will pick up the tab for that price hike. This is potentially a hundred billion of direct transfers from the taxpayers straight to the insurance companies.

That's why they are cancelling. And saying that they don't really have to won't change anything.
