12. I was 19 years old when JFK was shot

and will never forget the trauma and sorrow of that day and its aftermath. I also remember only too well what was happening in the USA at the time.

Because of what was happening then and having lived through what has happened since, like John Kerry, I have always had doubts that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Ditto for Sirhan Sirhan, btw.

My mother and father, a WWII veteran, also had doubts about both JFK and RFK as long as they lived. So have most citizens of other countries on the globe. Overwhelmingly.

Yes, I sincerely believe that the country would benefit from all files being opened up and examined. For a nation that prides itself on "transparency," that is the least that should be done. It will have been 50 years ago, after all, from that infamous date. Let's FINALLY learn what needs to be learned.
