Same with the fact that Zimmerman had had a fight with his wife just a few hours before killing Martin. Plus, he had a history of assault charges filed against him. Judge Nelson, oddly, ruled that incriminating evidence would not be allowed and she was inconsistent on expert witness testimony. She was a disaster as a Judge, apparently taking Don West's threats seriously. She was simply in way over her head in this case.
