... because it seems that folks have widely differing perceptions of what that would be. Something like Medicare for All would rate a 9 in my book, as it is a well run, low overhead system. Of course, the health care professions would not care for it because reimbursements are low compared to "managed care" (traditional insurance).

IMHO, if we had Medicare for All (all who wanted it), reimbursements could be raised and the overall cost to the consumer would drop based on lowering overhead ("insurance" admin costs) from 20%+ to 3%.
