8. I do love the whimsy of these temporary installations though. I particularly

like the ones done in chalk on concrete and the notion that they are still permanent in that someone has preserved them in electronic form. I like the notion that someone can contribute a bit of their talent in such a way. This is not a criticism of artists and their livelihood, but I do think that these are acts of kindness and love to the community. Would that other professions find it in themselves to ease the mind in whatever way they could.
