You said it but I got it published [View all]

It came from many sources but it was too good not to pass along. This Sunday, the Arizona Daily Star published my letter to the editor, to wit, "If Sarah Palin is upset about how liberal Pope Francis is, wait till she hears about Jesus"

In and of itself, getting my letter published is no big deal. I get one published every month and have for years. I don't even save them anymore. What made my day was the email I received from the editor of the opinion page of the Arizona Star the day before they published my letter which said, in effect, "I'm sorry that there is no award for letter of the year, but if there was, this letter would get it.

For those of you who think Arizona is a bastion of teabaggers, think again. We are going to turn Az. Blue next year!
