(6,783 posts)Big, bad adults taking down a young person. Good for you, people who are doing this. Shows why some of you spend so much time on a message board and not enough time dealing with people in reality.
If a 14 year old kid did something "wrong" or rubbed you the wrong way, then fine. Forgiveness should be the adult thing to do. Unfortunately, some of you so called "adults" are not that at all, no matter your chronological age.
Screw the history of this. It's a new day, and this young man is 18. Let me do this the right way - welcome back, young man. If you made mistakes in the past, it's okay, it was the past. I hope people here can be more adult-like to you, but unfortunately, spending too much time on a computer takes some folks out of the realm of reality and they forget what it's like to be kind and understanding.
Oh, and welcome back to DU. It is wonderful to see young people get involved.
