Ah, Rochester...
When you are less in your cups, I can explain to you why the heroes of that piece are in fact Obama and the American electorate, and the Harrelson character's actions are decidedly shown as the opposite of heroism. He is the flawed henchman to a fool/king with a masked monster in their camp. Had the Good Guy not won, the monster and the people were doomed to meet poor ends. It ends with less gore than Hamlet, yet Woody was the Dane, Sarah is Claudius, McCain is Gertrude/Polonius, the powers that are allowing the monster control. Obama, like Fortinbras, is mostly an off stage presence who enters just at the end, when the tragic figures are finished playing out their drama.
So it is Hamlet. Or many other things.
