come from ticket sales and product endorsements. No one forces anyone to give them money - it's all voluntary.

I refuse to spend $250 to take my wife and kids to a Red Sox game, with the $8 cups of warm beer and $6 hot dogs. Fuck that. I wouldn't even pay $25 for a ticket.

But enough fans seem to feel that it's worth the money, so why should you or I care what their salaries are?

Corporate executives, on the other hand, are being compensated with money that rightfully belongs to shareholders and employees, the people who keep the enterprise funded and running. They pack the board with their buddies, and they themselves sit on the boards of other companies who also lavishly reward their executive staff, and that's wrong.

But athletes, actors and others? I could care less how much money they make, as long as they're not forcing me to participate against my will.
