I suspect that anyone who is capable of doing, as he is alleged to have done, is a very dangerous person and should be locked up until proven innocent if in fact he is innocent otherwise that dude doesn't belong on the same streets as you and I who aren't capable of doing such a thing as he supposedly did.
The more dangerous a person is the higher the bail or that should be part of the criteria used for setting bail. IMHO
If he is innocent I apologize to him but in the meantime keep his ass in lock up.
Thats why we have the right to a speedy trial btw.
