1. He wouldn't appeal to either liberals or conservatives

The idea that he could be a successful candidate is rather preposterous. Each side would find some position he holds to be a non-starter. For me, it's guns. Total disqualifying position. For a conservative, it would be, say, the pinko commie predilection for a single-payer health system (unlikely as that would be to occur).
