Please, people, stop blindly accepting media reports designed to sensationalize what self-defense laws mean. For example: it is not legal to use potentially lethal force to protect property, like a stereo. Period. Only to defend yourself or another person from imminent death or severe bodily harm. Period. There's nothing, ANYWHERE, about "feeling threatened" or any other such definition. It's really quite limited.
