"Save Our History" thoughts from this morning on the History Channel ... [View all]

So, as I'm waiting for my turn in the bathroom, I turn on the History Channel. They're doing "save our history" show ... and they're doing a "Here's a slice of history that is going to be lost forever if we don't restore it, but Congress decides this historic naval veteran ship is not worthy." (hinting that liberals hate anything military and won't fund saving something "historic&quot .

And I thought to myself ... this sounds like a perfect job for the 1%ers ... why don't THEY spend the millions of dollars funding the restoration, if they're so supportive of the military? (Ironically, a later segment was about an "oyster" craft, I forget the exact term, which has been repurposed from dredging up oysters to a recreational tour boat for those who can afford to blow money ... a.k.a. the "recreational rich" ...)
