21. I fought for the ERA back in the day.....

Old school stuff prior to cell phones and email. We're talking stuffing envelopes, handing out fliers and spending hours on the phone with representatives from State Houses trying to sway their vote.

It was an eye opener of the way they all use the exact same talking points. They modeled themselves after totalitarian regimes like the USSR and everyone goes by what the Central Committee decrees and there is no deviation. They also PANIC when you call them out for the use of talking points and deny it emphatically.
