What's the problem here?
Cosmos is on Fox so that it can get to more people. That's fucking good!
I live in very rural western Michigan. There is no NBC affiliate within my roof antenna's reach. But I can receive two Fox affiliates, both of which broadcast Cosmos tonight.
That's what this is about, bringing science, raw and unclothed, to the masses. Neil deGrasse Tyson has already told the story of Giordano Bruno, burned at the stake for heresy for saying that there were other planets with life in the universe, and that the stars are other suns.
Where else would one want such heresies broadcast than on Fox?
Can hardly wait for the Republucan responses.
