In reply to the discussion: Mousie went across the Rainbow Bridge at 6am. [View all]Swede Atlanta
(3,596 posts)195. My condolences.......
I have two dear pugs that are 15 and 14. One is deaf and largely crippled while the other one seems to be doing quite well. We do the best we can and I hope I have them both for several more years.
Our pets are part of our family and are missed as much as any other member of the household, and in some ways, even more.

I'm so sorry. There's nothing sadder than losing a beloved, furry, family member.

Miss Mousie had a good life and gave you joy. Cry a little for her, but remember the joy...

So sorry, Grits. It hurts when we lose our pets since they are part of the family.
