I'd say a good percentage will NOT remain virgins for very long.

What better way for any group of men to control their women than to forbid one of the basic urges of humans.

And the control of all by these same men is to control the preparation of food, what they can/can't eat, their daily activities and the list goes on, and on, and on...

I think it has much to do with power; ultimate power because they, they priests, shamans, witch doctors, imams, ministers 'and the rest'.

What a racket these men have.

BTW, the new movie Paradise is about a teen woman who gets badly burned, loses her faith and moves to Las Vegas and fulfills a list of sins she has prepared.

I didn't watch the entire movie as it really bogged down and did not portray anything what I would have thought a 'good' interpretation could have been.
