I am possibly confusing Heidi with Heddi, in terms of usernames. My interactions with Heidi were always positive.

You and I, on the other hand, rarely interacted and I'm certain were not moderators at the same time.

I think it's important to bear in mind that my OP is based in fact, based in a benefit that many don't realize existed two years ago: coverage for pre-existing conditions. Google PCIP.

To be honest, Obama's efforts have made a significant difference in my life and in Teresa's life, more hers than mine.

In her case, she was able to get insurance despite her condition: a hand injury, serious, and all the neurological and pharmaceutical complications thereby related.

For me, my monthly cost for insurance fell by over $800/month. Of course YMMV, and you're in Europe, but I really think that people who complain about Obama's efforts need to look a bit more carefully.

Did every single person win? No. Was it single payer? No.

Did Teresa (and for that matter Will Pitt's wife) get medications.

Guess what. Teresa and Will's wife did.

Yet, a post that reads "Fuck You" to Obama stands.

Sorry, but I have a problem with that, I wish the member would written a retraction, correction, or have otherwise revised his statement, but he didn't.
