I view this as being on equal footing with that abomination called "Manhattan Clam Chowder".
No clam should ever be anywhere near a tomato.
Clam chowder...flour and butter and cream and some other ingredients
Whole belly fried clams...tartar sauce
that's it.

I eat a tin of anchovies and a tin of smoked oysters (with red pepper) for breakfast every day.
