That young people are woefully delinquent in voting in midterm or local and state elections. And that older Americans vote in larger numbers.

That said, I think the portrayal of older voters as cranky, "get off my lawn" types who watch Fox News is a bit unfair. There are a lot of seniors who are reliably liberal, and not even cranky.
