But since it's there for the moment, wouldn't undermining it's usefulness be taking it out of politics? It's a long shot, but maybe not. Finding radical ways to assess the problem, maybe seek the Achilles heel in over bloated money posturing could help make the usefulness of money in politics less..... useful.

I'm just saying for now, here we are. Let's use it against them. In the process we take back the lost ground and get the protections against political cronyism back in force.
