4. Presidents are immune from civil suits, even after they leave office,

for acts done in their official capacity as president (Nixon v. Fitzgerald). So it would depend on which actions he's being sued for (I would certainly argue that inciting insurrection is not an official presidential act). He is not immune from a civil action based on something he did before he became president (Clinton v. Jones).
