(8,646 posts)I personally don't have issues with perfume, unless it's ridiculously strong. My mother, OTOH, doesn't even have asthma and chokes up if someone has on too much perfume.
My asthma prefers perfume to body odor. I have no idea why, LOL. It hates mildew smell too. Oh, and moth balls...seriously I have a hard time going into discount stores that smell of moth balls because what it does to my lungs.
Oh, also, I enjoy burning incense on occasion and it doesn't bother me at all, whereas my ex-h cannot be in the same room as the smoke from incense (he also does not have asthma). Everyone has different triggers. You can't ban everything. And everyone always thinks their triggers are the most important ones that should be banned right now, LOL. ETA: oops, guess we can't ban pollen!
