I have broken my nose twice, and 30 minutes later there was a boatload of evidence 30 minutes later. In addition, a broken nose and possible head injuries should be checked by a qualified medical person.

If Zimmerman were to claim later that the police prevented him from getting the proper care, he would probably have grounds for a lawsuit if he experienced problems. In addition, head wounds bleed profusely. That injury is suspect too IMHO.
