i thought all one had to do is believe that jesus is the son of god to be a christian. i guess no christian is capable of doing wrong or bad in the eyes of christians of various beliefs systems so those christians who behave differently than the one making the charge are deemed "fake" christian so as not to taint the christian brand. i could go to one of those fundie megachurchs and they would tell me liberal christians are fake christians. as a gay man i have been the recipient of all that christian "love" my whole life so these "they aren't real christian" comments are amusing to me. those christians i encountered (mostly catholic french canadians in northern maine) growing up must have been the "fake" ones and the "real" ones were in hiding somewhere.
