There has been a LOT of spouting, in particular, from a small number of reactionaries around here, about how all white people need to accept our supposed collective literal "privilege"
and anyone who disagrees with that is somehow "uneducated", or a false liberal, or worse!, etc.), or how DU is supposedly full of misogynists(not true) or racists(also not true. Not even close!) over these past several months, just because people have disagreed with them, or whatever.....(not to mention the climate doomers are still causing problems as well, with their diatribes about how doomed we all are, and how anyone who disagrees with them, is a "denier" or a "minimizer", etc.) yeah, it's made this place a little hard to deal with sometimes.
But I'm not planning on leaving anytime soon. There's still many decent & intelligent people around here. If it were that hopeless, I'd have left a long time ago.
