Either way, neither of them reported seeing anything that would suggest a toddler was in the house when they were inside making the deal.
...Which is pretty fucking impossible.
I have some doubts that the police even had a informant for this - They just decided to raid the place again because they arrested a guy their in the past for drugs. The informant ploy is them trying to cover their asses, something to deflect blame from the officers who participated in the brutal attack on this toddler to a non-existant person who provided them with non-existant fake information. While 'they decided to raid the place for the hell of it' may sound far fetched, pointless raids have happened many time in the past. Hell, one family was visited and raided a few times a month by police trying to arrest a dead man.
Anyway, a update to the story doesn't give much hope for the toddler. One, he's paralyzed. Two, he's got a large laceration right on his chest, that can't be closed because the grenade charred - read cooked - his skin. Lastly, he's lost use of one of his lungs. Given that the police threw the grenade right on top of the toddler it's a miracle that he even survived the detonation, but I don't think that he'll survive this. A body that small isn't meant to take damage of this magnitude.
Edit - None of the stories mentioned anything about it but, just from seeing the damage on his face, I'd figure that his right eye is blinded.
