14. To me it's a bargain.

I got rid of cable and got a Roku, so I stream a lot of their free movies and TV (along with a couple of other services). I have a Kindle and get one free 'loaner' book a month plus a free book that hasn't yet been published (OK, some losers here). The new books on Kindle are cheaper than hardcover and everyday there are deals on books for about $2.

And yes, the shipping...free 2 day shipping. My peculator died earlier this week and I couldn't find one I wanted in a store so ordered it on Amazon; I couldn't wait for 2 day shipping (severe caffeine addiction) so got next day shipping for $3.50.

I know Amazon is heavily criticized here, often justifiably, but I admit I use it almost every day.
