I called a Chevy dealer about two months ago, or whenever this recall thing hit, and asked about a fix. They put my name on a waiting list and said they would give me a call when the got the parts. Still waiting. In the meantime, about once a week or so I get a notice from GM telling me my car's under recall and that as soon as parts come in I can get it fixed.

I think there is another issue with Cobalts other than the ignition thing, now. But until the dealer gets parts I just have to take my chances, I guess. (But that said, I don't carry my life around on a keychain, like some do, either.)

I don't look to hear from the dealer until much before fall, if then.
