sure, in many stereotypes, there is a grain of truth, but more importantly there are countless individuals who dont fit them AT ALL
after putting forth decades of these stereotypes, and making people unsympathetic towrd them, working people got a baseball bat starting in the early 1990s with NAFTA
in the 1980s, the image of tech consultants was the 'grey or blue suited IBM mold'
but then came the media stereotype of 'nerd' 'geek' or Americans who did study math and science, and the 'fat and 'lazy' of those who didnt
the baseball bat was not far behind
those you wish to destroy, you first belittle
