In reply to the discussion: To those women who are buying extra at Hobby Lobby [View all]KentuckyWoman
(7,397 posts)23. Stupid is as stupid does.
You and I can throw 100 factoids at them about why their viewpoint is ass backward and it won't make any difference.
It does no good to tell these twits David Green didn't have any religious objections over the last 20 years to buying his full time employees health insurance that covered birth control. Or that he doesn't have any religious objections to supporting forced abortions for the workers in China who actually make 90% of the crap they sell.
David Green doesn't give the tiniest shit if his workers have abortions. David Green is grabbing this opportunity to shift more of the medical care costs to his workers and more of the wealth to himself.
But telling that to Suzy Q Jesus Lover is a complete waste of time. I've tried.

Because the odd silence on a much more destructive ruling that came out befuddles me.

Maybe not, but it is a reminder that this information needs to be spread well beyond DU.

Their support won't last. You can only buy so much of what Hobby Lobby has to sell.

If you can't see the protest against HL as so much more than protesting a business...

By the math in a post here, HL supports a nation that has aborted more 'people' than live in the USA
