My daughter raised a couple of pigs once for her preschool at the urging of one of the moms who swore that Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pigs never got over 35 pounds. I told my daughter that was because the Vietnamese used to eat them at that size, but noooo, a militant vegetarian (the preschool mom) knew the facts. Also there were at that time plenty of articles in the LA Times about people abandoning their cute pets when they got to 150+ pounds, rescue societies like Little Orphan Hammie springing up...

I'm sorry to say I used to annoy my kid by greeting the now-pretty-big pigs as Pork Chop and Bacon. (Actually I'm not sorry; it must be my warped sense of humor.) They did finally have to find another home.

All that said, nearly all baby animals have that Squeeee factor built right in, and those Pigs-in-a-Blanket in the OP are absolutely adorable.
