15. It just so happens

I am carrying a knife today. I was on school property for a while.

I do not claim everyone needs a gun but will not say no one will ever need one. If violence is needed for self defense I won't second guess anyone's choice of weapon.

If a person unjustly uses any weapon (as in the MI case) they should face major punishment


Interesting side point. A small piece of a discussion we had some months back made it into the MN domestic violence law that passed this summer. I cannot claim any direct responsibility but it was very simlar to language I gave my rep on proposals to restrict firearm access to those under a restraining order.

I have hope still of someday having GC laws delineating rights and responsibility plus a reduction in overall violent crime, including gun crime.
