4. 'We' didn't torture anyone. We objected to those war crimes. They tortured men, women

and even children. We don't even know the extent of their crimes because they destroyed the evidence of many of them, and a whole lot of other evidence which was viewed by members of Congress whose reactions at the time, was horror, including people like Lindsey Graham, has not yet been seen by the general public.

That evidence became the subject of a years long court battle where there were rulings that we the people had the right to see it, then under appeal, different rulings. Sy Hersch told us that even children had been tortured. Women raped, people murdered, as Lindsey Graham told Cheney when he tried to dismiss the evidence they were looking at.

It is shocking that someone like Chelsea Manning who reported torture, actually believing that her military oath meant something, is in jail, while the perpetrators are being excused as 'just patriots who did what they did out of fear due to 9/11.
