In reply to the discussion: Fair for the Palestinians to force the cancellation of Israeli concerts, or pure terrorism? [View all]Erich Bloodaxe BSN
(14,733 posts)71. Except I didn't say that.
The people who fired the rockets or bullets or mortars that hit the people that died are to blame for the deaths.
Saying someone 'forced you' to kill someone else is a complete cop-out.
Hamas is responsible for killing 67 Israelis. (in this latest go round)
The IDF is responsible for killing 1700+ Palestinians.
What I actually said was that what Hamas does allows Israel to pretend Hamas is responsible for the Palestinian deaths. Not that they actually are.
The person who pulls the trigger is responsible, as well as the person who orders the trigger to be pulled. No matter what excuses anyone comes up with, no one else is ultimately responsible.

The sheer arrogance of Bibi expecting everyone to 'not second guess him' is breathtaking.
