He got tossed into a Soviet era prison in Poland for his cartoons. When he was rehabilitated, he'd learned photography and sculpture. Lego made the mistake of going along with him! LOLOL!

The guy is a genius. Lego is fantastic company. I hope nothing but the best for them and all they do.

Near my own home, I bought my son a Happy Meal at McDonalds one day. In it came this thing called a Bionicle. It was a Lego creation of a cyborg kind of thing. Seven or nine parts, it was really fun for a five year old to make.

Next thing you know, there are five more to collect. Each with a different color. Each with its own story line. A-OK, as they were freeeee.

As all this is going on, Lego introduced six opponent Bionicles -- opponents for the first group. Each with its own color, theme, piece or two, new weapon, new story. Soon, there were new groups, more powerful, bigger story lines, larger and more complex assemblies, of course much more expensive than the previous. It was like Don Corleone's ideal business being the business that makes more business.

With his chums whose parents also were hooked into buying the first little roboto, the boy made all of them. He still remembers the first thing. And he still's got it, too.

Great toys, all around. Imagination, planning, organization, construction, destruction. Very cosmic, like the robots one day will be our descendants.
