I retired early at age 56 14 years ago. I still work selectively as a free lancer within my former field of employ. Mostly to keep from getting rusty and to keep up with the latest advancements in said field. My current work scenario is a major improvement over the dog-eat-dog conditions set up by my former full time employer. They were unrelenting in their quest for doing more for less and for busting the union.
