If you have viewed any of the posts regarding ISIS on DU, the vast majority believe that ISIS needs to be stopped, but not by invading other countries. In fact the strategy being employed now is that the administration is providing air support, advisors, and intelligence to countries that are threatened by ISIS. Those countries are supplying the ground fighting force.
People on DU despise ISIS. So where do you think the answer to your hypothetical leads?
It was McCain and many republicans who thought it important to support the rebels in Syria, of course there isn't really a way to distinguish which rebels are ISIS, and which are not.
This all started with the republican and bush doctrine to support nation building in the middle east, and that didn't work out too well.
If anyone posed a threat, such as setting a bomb or suspicious actions, they would be reported to the authorities. The problem with Texas though is that if you see someone carrying a gun, you can't report that as a threat, because that is the norm in Texas
