I have always considered feigned confusion to pretend a point doesn't make sense to be among the lamest of Third Way rhetorical tactics.
*Of course* the original comment was clear and relevant, as you helpfully prove by finally trying to address it in your own response. It's too bad the response is the same, vapid "BUT WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!" ...er, I mean, "...requires some sort of action by someone" response that we have come to expect from the corporate posters here. As discussed at length in many recent threads, "Somebody needs to do something!" is not a coherent argument for war.
I'm done here, and the point was very relevant. You have a nice day, DCBob.
