Therefore, it doesn't MATTER that, at this moment, he isn't a registered Dem.
It's not like our party has any right to be angry with him for representing Vermont as an "I". If he's in our caucus in the Senate, his party status is irrelevant. Democrats have no reason to hold a grudge against Bernie.
We already know he wouldn't run third-party in the fall, so why care that he's an "I" right now?
BTW...there was no good reason to include that last option in the poll. Nobody would even think that, and you know it.

The point is to get people to say they'd vote third-party, so their views could be dismissed.

If Hillary thinks our vote is guaranteed, she can run as a 100% republican and still win.
