5. You can't sell shit-tons of oil to Turkey

and "hide" it on the books while convincing everyone to look the other way while screaming "war" without mathematics. Geometry of how to get said oil to Turkey while everyone pretends they don't see it being shipped is also handy.

Doing quadratic equations in your head to block out the fact that more money will be thrown at the "anti-terror" business while supporting the "terror and spying on Americans" business" is just a bonus.
